We love to see pictures and hear stories about how the animals that got adopted from us are doing in their new homes. We decided to start this page to share some of those Hoppy Tails with all of you!
Here is our Blue that we adopted from K&R a number of years ago.
He is getting up there in age and snores now when he sleeps :) He still
loves to run around the living room and play with his toys. His
favorite activity is bugging the dogs and cats in the house. We love
him and are so grateful that K&R rescued him!
Her new name is Audrey. It fits her really well - she's so petite and has those innocent big brown eyes but you know she's secretly trouble! She's so sweet and fun. She's been perfect with her litter box and hasn't chewed on anything. She's not afraid of anything... She's super curious and gets into everything. Last night I walked into the living room and she was on top of the coffee table drinking my glass of water! She has bonded closest of all with Steve, which isn't surprising since he's the one who's home all day with her. He likes to work on his laptop while sitting on the couch and she's been cuddling up next to him. She nudges his hand when she wants to be petted and if he doesn't pet her quickly enough she reinforces with a light nip. She's doing a great job training him! -Jill Johnson
We have now had "Maggie" (formerly amber) for a couple weeks and it's going great. Her and Magic have been the best of friends from the start. Other than her getting use to our food, affection and family, things have been great. She is warming up to us and we love her to pieces. Thank you again for allowing Maggie to join our bunny family. - Carrie Pleasant and family
Wallace was renamed 'Rumpel' ; this is after Ilias' favorite rabbit story. SO Rumpel has been at our house 2 weeks today and it has seemed like forever because he is just a part of our family! -Jan
I was just about to send you an update about Freckles. She is settling in just fine. She's a little sassy (just like you warned me), and one heck of a eater!!! She loves to run around the house, and makes a bed under the Christmas tree with the tree skirt every time!! She likes to tease my dog, and has been know to give kisses, even though I haven't experienced that yet! Shes definitely part of the family, thanks to your organization!

We really love having Gizmo in our family. He gets along very well with his new "brother" Sparkles. They bonded with each other quickly. He tolerates lots of love from our kids, and he loves lettuce and baby carrots! Thank you for him! He has found a great home, and we could not be happier. -Jehan
I just wanted to give you an update on how "Bunny" is doing in his new home. He is doing fabulous! He has chinned just about everything we own, and has claimed his "special spot" for napping and relaxing during the day. He is almost perfect with his litter habits already, and is such a good boy about going into his cage at bedtime. He has warmed up to us nicely and actively seeks us out for pets. If we aren't quick enough to offer up some loving there are nose bonks until we do. There have been a few binkies too! I can not wait to see how he will be be once his adjustment period is over...if he is this sweet now I can only imagine. Thank you again for allowing us to adopt this adorable ball of fur. He is making us so very happy. -Carrie
“I am so glad to say Brooklynn has opened up to us even more than we thought! She is a great bunny and I have fallen way deep in love with her! She has learned to trust me and enjoys running around and climbing! She has done about 4 binkies this week and I am very happy that she really feels comfortable and she just really is a great bunny! Oh and trust me she gets spoiled plenty! Here’s some pictures we took during playtime! Thank you again! Hope you enjoy them!” – Katie
"I thought I would send you an update and some pictures of our first week with Sterling. As you can see by the pictures, Sterling has settled in great! He has been helping Corinna with her homework and you can see how much "help" he really has been. He also has a new girlfriend and spends alot of time with Phoebe. It did take him a little bit to settle in but he's now back to using his litter box all the time. The only thing we really have to be careful with is his treat addiction :) We don't want him becoming a pork chop.
Thanks again for approving his adoption. It feels like he's always been a part of the family." -The Martells
"It's amazing how long it can take a bun to really warm up to his new home. We have had Roger for over 6 months, and while he and Cindy Bunny get a long extremely well, he doesn't feel the same about some of the humans in the house. Especially me!! But lately, oh my goodness!! He is jumping up on the couch to be by us and hunkers down into a bunny ball and lets me pet him for a long time! I think Cindy is getting jealous!" - Christine
"Our wonderful chinchillas from K&R now have a new pen for outside play! They love it! Getting lots of attention and lots of exercise. This is Rafiki, Sarahi was on the other side. They love being outside at night. We love them!" -Tammy
"Just wanted to share an updated photo of Toffee and his bunny family with you" - Lisa
"Isabel (Snow White) is doing beautifully. She loves affection and is even beginning to groom back. She's always within a couple feet of me and sprawls out on her side. AND her full lionhead mane has started to come in. She went from a ZaZa Gabor necklace of fur to a long white mane. Very cute. It still amazes me that Izzy was caught in somebody's backyard. All sorts of awful things could have happened to her and now she's sleeping under my bed when she isn't following me around demanding craisins and love." - Sharon
"Jill, now named Cookie is doing just great and we all love her! She has a sassy, fantastic personality and is doing terrific with the dog and with her litter box. She is getting along great with Big Bro Max!" - Jan
"I think it's a success!" - Alisha
“Just wanted to let you know how amazingly well Franklin and Torie are doing. They are in love and are now living together in the full pen, without need for the divider. We can't believe how quickly they bonded. We couldn't be happier. It is the neatest thing, watching them snuggle and share their veggies... it's like Lady and the Tramp- only with rabbits and lettuce. Anyway... all is well. Thanks for making our family complete.” -Abby and Ryan
"We ♥ our new baby bunnies! Meet Donald (grey/white) and Daphne (black/white) Donald & Daphne have a new house! It's supposed to be an outdoor house, but we have them in our living room. They LOVE it! Here they are chasing up the ramp. Spoiled babies! :)" -Roxanne
"Oz! What a funny bunny! We have had OZ for 2 weeks now. He picks on the dog, cats and LOVES our 4 year old. We just love his 9pm blinks and his 7am temper tantrum thumps. Keeper!" - Jackie
"Kirby decided to check out Joey's home and visit with him for a while. . . Joey is not afraid of Kirby visiting him at all!" - Clare
"Here's Olivia kissing Gru...and Gru kissing Olivia! It's from about 4 months ago. I'll try to get a newer pic of the piggies tonight! :)"
"Just wanted to give you guys an update on my girl Threarah (Formally known as Harriet). She has been doing absolutely wonderfully and is SUCH a doll. From what you guys told me, I was expecting a very shy bun...but she is quitee the opposite. She has made herself very much at home and has been running laps, doing binkies, and flopping out non-stop since her arrival!! She's been taking her injections like a star, and I can tell she is quite ready to take that cone off, but we know she has a few days yet. I haven't introduced her to my boys yet, as I want to let her settle herself in, but I will be sure to post pictures when I do :)" - Leah
Threarah says: Thank you Kristin and Rebecca for saving me! I am very happy now :)
"Just thought I'd stop by and let you know how delighted I am with Bonnie and Clyde, they have come face to face with my dogs and are fitting into their new furever home wonderfully!!" - Lyn
